Matt has always possessed a firm grasp on his style of dark and cinematic music. Blending this genre of darkness, with elements of pop, electronic, hip hop, and theatrical movie score, Matt has evolved his music into the M-PHAKTOR-name that precedes him. M-PHAKTOR music is a blend of Neo Classical and Dark Wave.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Formed sometime in 2003-2004 I began recording my own riffs and loops on a home-computer. Fast forward to now, I have:
2007 - Scored & titled as the Composer to a Blockbuster-released film 'Silent Sam'
2009 - Began selling my music online around the world
2011 - Songwriter of the Year (Niagara Music Awards)
2013 - Instrumentalist of the Year (Niagara Music Awards)
2016 - Launch of M-PHAKTOR online
